ABOUT ME…
A videographer, event worker and an Environmental Science graduate, Liene aims to connect community and build relationship to nature & culture. She is fascinated by the intersection of art and science, the intellect and the spiritual, and the aspects within people that cause influence, connection and change. Born into a family descended from Latvian political refugees, she draws inspiration from Baltic traditional folklore, produced through its harsh history. It ignites passion and emotion which she navigates by creating events and other projects, that encourage audiences to reflect on their own inner-world workings and strength. Fascinated by the power of people, she yearns to inspire others by shining spotlight on community power, provoking individual reflection that leads to action for a greener and more culturally aware future.
